About This Project

GPMG managed the delivery of a 500MW solar farm and co-located 200MWh battery energy storage system in Queensland, Australia. The project included grid connection works, civil and electrical construction, and community engagement across a remote site.

The Challenge

Remote site logistics, extreme heat conditions, a complex grid connection process, and the need to coordinate an international supply chain for solar panels and battery modules presented significant delivery challenges.

Our Solution

Our team implemented robust logistics management, established an on-site welfare and safety program for remote workers, and worked closely with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) to streamline the grid connection process.
