About This Project

GPMG provided project management services for the upgrade of 180km of key transport corridors in the Northern Territory, including road widening, new bridge structures, culvert replacements, and safety barrier installations across remote and Indigenous communities.

The Challenge

Working in remote areas with limited access, maintaining traffic flow during construction, and engaging respectfully with Traditional Owners and Indigenous communities required specialist expertise and a culturally sensitive approach.

Our Solution

GPMG embedded a dedicated Indigenous Engagement Coordinator, established culturally appropriate consultation processes, and worked with local Indigenous businesses to build employment and contracting opportunities into the program.
